HVAC 23104 - Heating Systems

Credit Hours: 4

Students will examine gas and electrical heating systems and come to understand their processes, including combustion air analyses and venting tables with an emphasis on safety, codes, and ordinances. Heat pumps, dual fuel, and geothermal systems will be introduced. Students will operate, troubleshoot, and service the most common furnaces. The theory of installation will be addressed.
