The Associate of Applied Science in Business is a two-year degree designed to prepare students for entry-level to supervisory positions within business, governmental relations, and other industries. The Insurance option is designed to provide students with foundational skills in insurance and risk management. This program teaches critical thinking, communication and teamwork skills in addition to being introduced to tops within the insurance industry. Those topics include risk management, personal and commercial property, life, health and liability. In addition to the course work students will complete an internship their last semester within the local insurance industry as well as complete the CISR industry certification exam.

Degree Requirements
- This degree requires successful completion of 60 credit hours.
- A minimum 2.00 cumulative grade point average required for graduation.
- Satisfaction of all financial obligations due to the college is required for graduation.
- Please note: additional prerequisite courses may be required if minimum placement test scores are not met.
