Graduation Map: Associate of Arts

The Associate of Arts (AA) degree is designed for students who wish to complete the first two years of a baccalaureate degree and transfer to a four-year institution. The AA degree requires the successful completion of 60 credit hours with a minimum 2.0 cumulative grade-point average.

Most transfer 2+2 agreements are made with the Associate of Science degree plans. Please check with an advisor to make sure you are in the correct degree for your transfer goals. For links to transfer agreement degree plan checklists, visit 2+2 Transfer Information and Agreements (uaptc.edu).

ACTS Course Numbers

The Arkansas Course Transfer System (ACTS) contains information about the transferability of courses within Arkansas public colleges and universities. Students are guaranteed the transfer of applicable credits and equitable treatment in the application of credits for admissions and degree requirements. Degree Requirements

- This degree requires successful completion of 60 credit hours

- A minimum 2.00 cumulative gradepoint average required for graduation

- Satisfaction of all financial obligations due to the college is required for graduation

- Please note: additional prerequisite courses may be required if minimum placement requirements are not met.

- NOTE: BIOL 1300/1100 cannot serve as a prerequisite for upper-level BIOL courses.
