WELD 12034 - Advanced SMAW

Credit Hours: 4

This course presents a study of theory and application of basic shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), including the setting of equipment, selecting electrodes and running beads. Students receive instruction and practice in out-of-position welding, welding qualification test requirements and take the welder qualification test.
