ECED 11183 - Working with Diverse Families Credit Hours: 3
This course is the study of the relationship between the educator and the child’s family. Students will develop an understanding of the diversity in families and their functions. Students will explore strategies to maintain an open, friendly, and cooperative relationship with families. Students will also gain a broad knowledge of parenting perspectives, family involvement models and special topics that affect families in early childhood programs.
