Program Overview
The Associate of Science in Education (ASE) degree is for students who want to complete the first two years of a baccalaureate degree in education and transfer to a four-year institution.
UA-PTC has multiple 2+2 agreements with various institutions. Courses should be selected with a departmental advisor to ensure seamless transfer to those institutions.
ACTS Course Numbers
The Arkansas Course Transfer System (ACTS) contains information about the transferability of courses within Arkansas public colleges and universities. Students are guaranteed the transfer of applicable credits and equitable treatment in the application of credits for admissions and degree requirements. Degree Requirements
- This degree requires successful completion of 60 credit hours.
- A minimum 2.0 cumulative grade-point average is required for graduation.
- Students must earn a grade of “C” or better in all courses to earn to AS Education.
- Satisfaction of all financial obligations is required for graduation.
- Please note: additional prerequisite courses may be required if minimum placement requirements are not met.
