Graduation Map: Digital Media Production - Web/Graphic Design Option, AAS

The Associate of Applied Science in Digital Media Production -Web/Graphic Design Option covers computer-based graphics where it applies to print, web, and broadcasting and motion picture applications while incorporating various design and typographic principles and approaches in graphic design and applying them to design projects of moderate and increasing complexity.  Emphasis is on the development of portfolio quality, strong concepts and communicating persuasively and effectively both type and image in a variety of 2D, 3D, and interactive prototypes.  This degree also prepares students to design and deploy content for websites using a variety of media including graphics, sound, animation, and video to create two-way responsive user experiences.

Degree Requirements

-This degree requires successful completion of 60 credit hours.

-A minimum 2.00 cumulative grade-point average is required for graduation.

-In general, you must have a grade of “C” or better to transfer courses to a four-year institution.

-Satisfaction of all financial obligations due to the college is required for graduation.

-Please note: additional prerequisite courses may be required if minimum placement test scores are not met.
