The Technical Certificate in Insurance is designed to provide students with foundational skills in insurance and risk management. Topics include risk management, personal and commercial property, life, health and liability. In addition to the course work students will complete an internship their last semester within the local insurance industry as well as complete the CISR industry certification exam.

Degree Requirements

-The certificate requires completion of 30 credit hours. 

-A minimum 2.00 grade-point average is required for graduation. 

-Please note: additional prerequisite courses may be required if minimum placement test scores are not met.
