HVLT 1002 - Introduction to Power Industry Credit Hours: 1
Introduction to the Power Industry will cover the production of electricity from burning fossil fuels such as coal and natural gas, to harnessing nuclear energy, and using renewable energy sources such as wind, geothermal, and solar energy. Energy production and delivery, along with the environmental impacts of producing and distributing electrical power, and the methods that are employed to mitigate those impacts will be addressed.
