Program Overview
The Associate of Applied Science in Aviation Maintenance program provides students with instruction in the general power plant and airframe curricula. Students may choose to seek Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification as an aircraft maintenance technician with an airframe rating and/or a power plant rating by completing the certificate curricula, or they may choose to complete the Associate of Applied Science in order to acquire additional education to advance into supervisory and inspection positions in the industry. The Aviation Maintenance Technology program is accredited by the FAA as an approved Part 147 Maintenance School.

Degree Requirements
- This degree requires successful completion of 89-92 credit hours
- A minimum 2.00 cumulative grade-point average required for graduation
- Satisfaction of all financial obligations due to the college is required for graduation
- Please note: additional prerequisite courses may be required if minimum placement test scores are not met
