The Associate of Applied Science in Allied Health prepares students for allied health careers. The five degree options include a block of general education requirements and selected allied health professional curriculum credits. The Histotechnology, Sleep Technology, and Surgical Techology completion options are offered through a partnership with Baptist Health College Little Rock. The Radiography option is offered through a partnership with CHI St. Vincent Infirmary School of Radiologic Technology. Dental Assisting is offered at UA-PTC. Students will be admitted into the professional core through specific requirements of the admission/selection criteria of the affiliated school.
Option: Sleep Technology
Students enrolled in this program of study obtain 37-42 credit hours by graduating from Baptist Health College Little Rock with a Sleep Technology diploma. Students then complete the 19-23 credit hours (depending on graduation year from Baptist Health) of general education at UA - Pulaski Technical College.

General Education Courses
Complete all (19-23 credit hours) Sleep Technology Certificate
37-42 Credit Hours Students must submit an official transcript from BHCLR showing completion of the Sleep Technology program to the Office of Records at UA-Pulaski Technical College. Total 60-61 Credit Hours
*Only needed as a prerequisite if taking Microbiology **Completion of both Anatomy and Physiology I and II may be used to satisfy this course requirement. |
