This course is a scientific study of the principles of botany that provides the foundation for other advanced courses in the biological sciences. It includes an in-depth study of the properties, structure and function, growth, and classifications of plants. Concepts of plant reproduction, photosynthesis, ecology, and genetics are included. Prerequisite(s):
BIOL 1302 /BIOL 1102 , or BIOL 1401 with a grade of “C” or better.
