Student success is accomplished through the completion of any of the following areas: certificate, Associate of Applied Science, Associate of Arts, Associate of Science and enhancement of career or personal skills and course work that promotes life-long learning.
History
University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College, an institution of higher education, is an integral part of the University of Arkansas System. It is governed by a University of Arkansas System Board of Trustees appointed by the governor and derives its support largely from student tuition and legislative appropriations.
UA - Pulaski Tech’s history dates back to October 1945 when the College was established as the Little Rock Vocational School under the supervision of the Little Rock Public Schools. In October 1969, administration of the school was transferred to the Arkansas Board of Vocational Education, and the school was named Pulaski Vocational Technical School.
Early in the 1970s, 137 acres declared surplus by the Veterans Administration were transferred to the North Little Rock School District, and Pulaski Vo-Tech was given 40 acres for a new school site. Pulaski Vo-Tech moved from 14th and Scott streets in Little Rock to its present location in January 1976.
When the Arkansas General Assembly created the Arkansas Technical and Community College System in 1991, Pulaski Vo-Tech and 12 other vocational-technical schools became technical colleges under the coordination of the Arkansas Higher Education Coordinating Board. Pulaski Vo- Tech then became Pulaski Technical College. The college joined the University of Arkansas System in February 2017 and became University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College.

Main Campus

UA - Pulaski Technical College’s Main Campus is located in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The Main Campus houses the Campus Center Building (CCB), which includes the offices of Admissions, Records, Financial Aid, Advising and Career Services, Counseling and Disability Services, and Student Activities. In addition, the Campus Center houses the Business/Cashier’s Office, Tutoring Services, the Office of Testing Services, Veterans Services, Campus Bookstore, a food court, instructional space, administration and staff offices, and multipurpose classrooms.
The Administration Building is the site for Career Pathways, TRIO Scholars, Veterans Upward Bound, the Offices of the Chancellor and Provost, Human Resources, Public Relations and Marketing, the UA-PTC Foundation, Advancement Office, Computing Services, and Institutional Research. This location offers a variety of courses for degree programs.
The Allied Health, HVAC, Construction Management, Drafting and Design, Machine Shop, and Welding programs are also located at this campus. The Main Campus also features the Center for Humanities and Arts (CHARTS) which includes art studios, a black box theater, recital and performance studios, and a 500-seat performing arts theater. Ottenheimer-North Library is also located on the Main Campus across the promenade from the Campus Center.
Business and Industry Center

The Business and Industry Center supports the mission of UA - Pulaski Technical College by providing an array of learning opportunities designed to meet the learning needs of the business and industry community of Central Arkansas. The Business and Industry Center provides customized training in response to the needs of Arkansas business and industry. Staff provides training and instruction in mechanical maintenance, industrial electricity, electronics, aircraft modification, programmable logic controllers, computer applications, community education, management development, and supervision. This is not a full-service location.
Saline County Adult Education Center

UA - Pulaski Technical College operates the Saline County Adult Education Center at Benton offering General Educational Development (GED) preparation, basic skills, English as a Second Language (ESL), and academic upgrade for workforces and college preparation. Adult Education programs are also found on both the UA - Pulaski Technical College Main Campus and the Little Rock-South locations. This is not a full-service location.
Aerospace Technology Center

This site is a location for students taking aviation courses. The Aviation Maintenance Technology program offered at UA - Pulaski Technical College trains students for FAA certification. Training technologies include computer-based instruction, PowerPoint instructional presentations, video presentations, lectures, training aids, field trips, day and evening classes, school-affiliated FAA designated mechanics examiners, FAA-certified instructors, FAA/FCC approved federal testing center, and a comfortable learning environment. This is not a full-service location.
Little Rock-South

Little Rock-South is home to programs in automotive technology, collision repair technology, diesel technology, power sports and equipment technology, and commercial driver training. In addition, the site is home to classrooms, laboratories, student services, faculty and staff offices, Ottenheimer-South Library, testing services, and tutoring services for a wide variety of courses. General education and other college courses are offered. The South site also houses the University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College Career Center, which offers secondary career programs for high school students in Saline County and elsewhere. Also located on this site, UA - Pulaski Technical College Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Institute (CAHMI) provides an intensive, comprehensive course of study in the culinary arts, baking and pastry arts, and hospitality management.
UA-PTC Lab School: Little Learners Academy

The mission of the Little Learners Academy is to foster social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and creative development in a safe and healthy learning environment for the children entrusted to our care and to provide access to high quality experiential learning opportunities for our Early Childhood Development students that allow them to develop to their fullest potential. The Little Learners Academy serves the University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College employees and students and Veterans Administration employees.
